A Tiny Little Blessing and Some Chaos

So evidently I have failed at blogging for the past few months.  Life has been a little hectic in our little backyard.  I'll try and start at the beginning.

Joshua and I are expecting a tiny little wiggly blessing around November 10th!!!  We are really excited about this new adventure!  We found out it's a GIRL and that has started a whole new project of selecting names and more specific items for her little nursery!

At the beginning of May we had photos taken by the lovely Abby Grace Photography and you can see the lovely post she wrote about us here.

We then took off on our "Babymoon" to Alaska!!!  Ohmygosh, it was SO wonderful!  I don't think you could put into words how beautiful the Alaskan landscape is.  It's breathtaking!  We enjoyed great food, shows, kayaking in the ocean, riding the klondike railroad, a breathtaking glacier and the chilly northern spring.  It was a really perfect vacation!

We have also been busy with our youth trip and boy was it a success!  We are still recovering from all the excitement!

Now back home, we are trying to get things back in order which is a little difficult due to the state of our kitchen and house in general.  Our last big project is now in progress and is making life a little tricky for the next couple of weeks.  I am used to the chaos of these type of things and I am just taking this time to remind myself of the end product and how wonderful it will be to have things put back together!  I hope to post photos of the before and afters of everything once we get things straightened up.
