O-N-E

I can't believe you are ONE.  The past year just flew by!  Everyone told me it would.  It's hard to really know what people mean until you experience it for yourself.

To celebrate we planned a perfect party for our little bug!  That morning a squirrel caused our power to go out.  Daddy, being amazing, had it under control.  He went and picked up a generator and got all the lights working.  We just didn't panic and set things up.  The power ended up coming on just in the nick of time.

Everything was perfect!  From the whimsical decorations, to the cake and being surrounded by people who love you and have been a support to Mommy and Daddy while we figure this whole parenting thing out.  It was a big celebration of your little yet super meaningful life so far!

I'm overwhelmed with how much I love you little bug!  Happy First Birthday!
